Postponement of First-Year Parents' Meeting with the School Management & the PTA Executives
On behalf of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Executive Committee and the School Management, I am writing to inform you of the postponement of our upcoming meeting, originally scheduled for this Saturday 26th September, 2026 to Saturday 10th October 2026.
While our recent online executive meeting highlighted the urgent need to connect with you, the final arrangements were not fully firmed up. We realize that proceeding this weekend would be highly unfair and impractical for our families. We have made this decision based on several critical factors:
Travel Fatigue and Distance: Most of you travelled long distances from various regions just last week to drop off your wards. Asking you to undertake the financial and physical burden of travelling back to the school only a week later is unreasonable.
Short Notice: Sending out an official notification just three days before a major meeting does not give you sufficient time to prepare adequately.
Incomplete Enrollment: Admissions are still actively ongoing. Since some parents are still in the process of bringing their wards to school, we do not yet have a full complement of first-year
Proposed Scheduling Option:
To ease your travel burden and ensure maximum attendance, we strongly considered to push the meeting to next two weeks (10/10/26) to coincide with the upcoming Visiting Day. Combining the meeting with Visiting Day allows you to check on your wards and attend this crucial meeting in a single trip, saving you time and transportation costs.
