
Accra Girls Headmistress Honoured at Ghana Executive Management Awards
Accra Girls Senior High School (AGISS) is proud to announce that its Headmistress, Mrs. Gifty Andoh, was honoured with a prestigious award of Excellence in Secondary Education Leadership at the 2nd Edition of the Ghana Executive Management Awards (GEMA).
The event, held on 9th April 2026 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, brought together distinguished leaders and institutions from across Ghana. This year’s theme, “The role of institutional management in navigating fundamental reforms of the economic operating environment,” emphasized the importance of effective leadership in today’s evolving landscape.

The honour reflects Mrs. Andoh’s exceptional leadership, dedication to academic excellence, and her continuous efforts in advancing the standards of education at Accra Girls Senior High School. Under her guidance, the school has maintained strong academic performance, discipline, and a reputation for excellence.
The ceremony was attended by close family members and key representatives of the school, including her husband and daughter, Rev. Theophilus Abblordeppey, ICT Coordinator of AGISS, and Rev. Jonathan Akai Nettey, the School Chaplain.
This achievement has been warmly received by the entire AGISS community, students, staff, alumni, and stakeholders, and stands as a testament to the impact of strong and visionary leadership in education.
