Important Admissions Notices / Checklist

✅ Documents & Paperwork

  • Completed Personal Record Form (Form D)

  • Copy of BECE Results Slip

  • Placement Form endorsed by JHS head (signed, stamped) with 2 endorsed passport photos

  • Photocopy of National Health Insurance (NHIS) Card

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate

  • Two (2) passport-size photographs, endorsed by JHS head


🏥 Medical / Health Requirements

  • Valid NHIS card (bring original or photocopy as required)

  • Students with special medical conditions: obtain certified medical reports from recognized/accredited institutions

  • Complete Medical Form; get medical check-up at one of the designated hospitals: Maamobi Polyclinic or 37 Military Hospital


🖥 Online / Portal Tasks

  • Access the Admissions Portal (Entry Loom)

  • Log in using BECE Index Number

  • Fill/Edit all required personal data

  • Download your school list and reporting guidance.
  • Download Admission Letter 

  • Download/print documents: Admission Letter, Prospectus, Medical Form, Personal Record Form, Rules & Regulations etc.

  • Fill all required forms: Form A, Form B, Form C, Form D

  • Submit to School starting Friday, 11th September, 2026

  • Reporting Date is Friday, 18th  September, 2026

    All newly admitted Day and Boarding students are required to report to the school in their school approved white frock to complete and finalise the admission process.

    Boarding Students: All boarders must report to the school no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, 18th September 2026.


🎯 Other Essentials

  • Valid email address (for online health registration, communications)

  • Passport-size photograph (for health registration)

  • JHS Index Number handy

  • Proof of Admission (printed admission letter etc.) to show when reporting

  •  Colour-Coded Items for School (Harmonised Prospectus)

    All first-year students are to procure the required school items listed in the Harmonised Prospectus according to their assigned group, as follows:

    • Gibson – Group 1

    • Buckman – Group 1

    • Cobbinah – Group 2

    • Clottey – Group 3

    • Aryee – Group 2 or Group 3

    Important: Group 2 is also assigned to Day Students. Parents and guardians of Day Students should therefore procure the items specified under Group 2 in the Harmonised Prospectus.

    Parents are advised to confirm the student’s assigned group before purchasing the required items to ensure that the correct prospectus requirements are obtained.

School Documents to Download and Complete

All newly admitted students are required to download the below documents and complete them. These documents are to be submitted to the school on Friday, 11th September, 2026

Check and submit placement documents, print admission letter, prospectus, and medical documents.

All students are to log on to shisgh.org to register their health details for a health record. Students will need a valid email address and a passport size photograph. Students are required to bring along their NHIS card.
After completing the admissions process, students are to report to school on Friday, 18th September, 2026 Note: Students who fail to report by the deadline risk forfeiting their admission.
You are required to visit Entry Loom Portal for the online admissions process. Please follow the procedure online, download the school documents from this page, print out and fill. Report to the school on the Friday 11th September, 2026 when Admissions begins. We look forward to welcoming you to Accra Girls’ Senior High School.
