Accra Girls’ Senior High School (AGISS) warmly welcomes all newly admitted students and their parents and guardians to the 2026/2027 academic year.
Congratulations on your placement at Accra Girls’ SHS. You are about to become part of a proud tradition of educating and nurturing young women who are prepared to lead with vision, virtue, confidence and excellence.

All newly admitted students are required to complete the admission process through the official admissions platform.

Students and parents should carefully follow the instructions on the portal and ensure that all information provided is accurate.
Documents and Forms to Download, Complete and Submit
As part of the admission process, students should download, print and complete all applicable admission documents. Based on the school’s admissions requirements, these include:
1. Admission Letter
Download and print the Admission Letter generated through the admissions process. Keep the original safely and present it when reporting to school.
2. Personal Record Form
Download and complete the Personal Record Form (Form D) with the student’s required personal and family information.
3. Medical Examination Form
Download and complete the Medical Form and undergo the required medical examination at one of the designated health facilities.
The current school guidance identifies:
- Maamobi Polyclinic
- 37 Military Hospital
Students with special medical conditions should also provide certified medical reports from recognized/accredited medical institutions.
4. Rules and Regulations
Download, read carefully and complete the Rules and Regulations document where required. Students and parents/guardians should ensure that they understand the school’s expectations before reporting.
5. Other Admission Forms
Students should download and complete all applicable forms provided through the admissions process, including:
- Form A
- Form B
- Form C
- Form D / Personal Record Form
Completed forms should be kept together with the other admission documents for submission and verification.
Documents to Have Ready
In addition to the downloadable forms, parents and students should prepare the following:
- BECE Results Slip
- CSSPS Placement Form, properly endorsed by the JHS Head with the required signatures, stamp and passport photographs
- Birth Certificate
- Valid NHIS Card
- Required passport-size photographs
- Medical report, where applicable
- Printed Admission Letter
- Completed Personal Record Form
- Completed admission forms and other required documents
The school’s current admissions checklist specifically requires an endorsed placement form, BECE results slip, NHIS card, birth certificate and passport photographs.
School Prospectus and Items
Students should also obtain and carefully review the Harmonised Prospectus and prepare the required school items before reporting.
AGISS groups certain prospectus items according to programme:
- Science & Home Economics: Red Group
- General Arts: Yellow Group
- Business, Visual Arts & Agriculture: Green Group
Parents and students should use the official prospectus to determine the complete list of items applicable to their programme.
Medical and Health Registration
All newly admitted students are required to undergo the appropriate medical examination as part of the admission process.
Students are also required to complete their health registration online. A valid email address and passport-size photograph are required for the health registration process, and students should bring their NHIS card.
Before You Report to School
Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete the online admission process early and ensure that all forms are properly filled, signed and accompanied by the required supporting documents.
Create a file containing all admission documents so that they can be easily presented for verification when required.
Students should also ensure that their school uniform, prospectus items and other personal requirements are ready before reporting.
