The AGISS Band
The AGISS Band is a pop band established in February 2023. It is managed by the Music Directors who are patrons and teachers in the school. The band started with just six (6) members but currently numbers up to twenty-five (25). The band is dynamic and performs different genres of music like Highlife, Afro-pop, Gospel, Reggae, Jazz, and Hiplife.

Objectives:
- The band arouses and sustains the interest of students with a keen interest in music.
- The band seeks to become the hub for churning out the next biggest sensation on the Global music scene.
Achievements
- The band won an inter-school band competition hosted by the Accra Academy School Band on 28th April, 2023. This contest took place three months after the establishment of the Band.
Band members take an award and a cash price.
- The band was invited by WAEC to perform at their 2022 Distinction Awards Ceremony on the 22nd of June 2023.
- Our band was invited to perform at CHASS Conference which hosted about 700 Heads of SHS/SHTS across the country on 11th October 2023. The Special Guest of Honour was His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana.

- The band has a four-track EP(Mini-album) to its credit. On the 20th of July 2024, the band launched a four-track Mini-album titled Eclectic Collide. Two of the tracks were written by members of the band. In addition, we are working on music video releases for all the EP songs. In the future, we hope to collaborate with different top artists and senior high school bands.
