Important Admissions Notices / Checklist

✅ Documents & Paperwork

  • Completed Personal Record Form (Form D)

  • Copy of BECE Results Slip

  • Placement Form endorsed by JHS head (signed, stamped) with 2 endorsed passport photos

  • Photocopy of National Health Insurance (NHIS) Card

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate

  • Two (2) passport-size photographs, endorsed by JHS head

🏥 Medical / Health Requirements

  • Valid NHIS card (bring original or photocopy as required)

  • Students with special medical conditions: obtain certified medical reports from recognized/accredited institutions

  • Complete Medical Form; get medical check-up at one of the designated hospitals: Maamobi Polyclinic, 37 Military Hospital, or Achimota Hospital

🖥 Online / Portal Tasks

  • Access the Admissions Portal

  • Log in using BECE Index Number

  • Fill/Edit all required personal data; upload passport photo

  • Print Admission Letter & Personal Data from dashboard

  • Download/print documents: Admission Letter, Prospectus, Medical Form, Personal Record Form, Rules & Regulations etc.

  • Fill all required forms: Form A, Form B, Form C, Form D

  • Admission process begins: Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, Assembly Hall, 9:00 AM

  • School reopens for new entrants: Saturday, 18th October 2025

  • Deadline for Reporting: Thursday, 23rd October 2025, before 5:00 PM

  • Orientation starts: Friday, 24th October 2025

  • School Management Meeting with all First Year Parents: 18th October 2025, New Dining Hall, 11:00 AM

👕 Uniform & Clothing

  • School Uniform: Green check (small check / small box type)

  • Church Cloth for first-year students: Ahwenepa Nkasa (Blue and White)

  • Sewing Kit

🎯 Other Essentials

  • Valid email address (for online health registration, communications)

  • Passport-size photograph (for health registration)

  • JHS Index Number handy

  • Proof of Admission (printed admission letter etc.) to show when reporting

Online Admissions

Check and submit placement documents, print admission letter, prospectus, and medical documents.

Health Registration

All students are to log on to shisgh.org to register their health details for a health record. Students will need a valid email address and a passport size photograph. Students are required to bring along their NHIS card.

Report to School

After completing the admissions process, students are to report to school latest by Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 (before 5:00 PM) Note: Students who fail to report by the deadline risk forfeiting their admission.

Check-In

You are not required to come to the school premises for the online admissions process. Please follow the procedure online and report to the school on the reporting date. We look forward to welcoming you to Accra Girls’ Senior High School.

Access Web Portal

Open any web browser and enter the address: www.accragirlsshs.com. Click on "2025/2026 Admissions Portal" button. Enter your B.E.C.E Index Number and click the Login button

Online Processing

This platform only serves as an additional choice for completing the admissions process. It is important to note that it does not serve as a substitute for the traditional manual admissions procedure.

Update Personal Records

Click on Edit Data and fill in all information required. Click choose file to upload Students Photograph -- Find location of photograph, select photograph and click open. When all entries have been made, click on Save Entries.

Print Admissions Letter & Personal Data

On your dashboard, click Print Admission Letter and print. Click Print Personal Data and print

Download and Print

On the main dashboard, scroll down to "Documents, Notices, Prospectus, Rules and Regulations". Click on "Click to View Document" under each heading to view and print document. Print and fill all Forms (Form A, Form B, Form C and Form D

Submit to School

Submit all completed Forms together with a copy of Results Slip to the school.
