COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Home Economics course at Accra Girls’ Senior High School is a multifaceted program designed to provide students with essential skills and knowledge for managing personal and family life. This course covers a range of subjects, including Food and Nutrition, Management in Living, General Knowledge in Art (GKA), Clothing and Textiles, and Biology. Each subject is interwoven to promote a holistic understanding of home management and personal well-being.

- Food & Nutrition:
Students will explore the fundamentals of nutrition, meal planning, and food preparation. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet, food safety practices, and dietary needs across different life stages. Practical cooking sessions enable students to apply their knowledge and develop culinary skills that promote healthy eating habits. - Management in Living:
